Code of conduct

The slightly updated 2017 version of Linuxing In London’s code of conduct is simple:

We want no racism, no sexism, no misogyny, no xenophobia, no homophobia, no transphobia, etc. and please really make a serious effort to respect others.

If you feel like being rude, don’t!

Be extra polite, nice to everyone, and no racist or sexist jokes because if you do you will be banned.

NB: Either follow the code of conduct, or don’t attend.

April 2020 update: For our virtual events, do not swear, make snide comments or otherwise detract from the on-going event. We expect all members to be extra polite to our speakers, etc

If you attend one of our events and break this code, you will be asked to leave, no arguments, no nothing, asked to leave.

We tried to have an all-encompassing code previously, but we found most men didn’t either read it or absorb its meaning.
