Events – 2016/2017

We held some superb events in 2016, with enthralling speakers from IBM, SUSE, Red Hat, QA, AWS and many more.

In 2017 we are planning to have more themed events, every month, start March 2017.

16th February 2017

  1. A lightening talk: Everything you wanted to know about Raspberry Pi installations but were afraid to ask, in 10 minutes or less by Brian Byrne.
  2. How “Swift” is AWS Lambda? By Nic Jackson.
  3. An introduction to userland rootkits. How they work and what we can learn from them, by Brett Mack of OpenCredo.
  4. Meetup page.

16th March 2017

Provisionally scheduled as our Internet of Things (IoT) evening. Speaker slots are available.

20th April 2017

We shall be looking at security and privacy in the modern world, a pertinent topic if ever there was.

18th May 2017

Still up for grabs.

Our events are hosted at Skills Matter, the premier technology venue in London.  Many thanks to them for their generosity, good will and hospitality.

Skills Matter is close-by Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations.
